Ravi Rao:
Ravi is CEO, India operations of Alcove Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Ravi has over 24 years of experience all spheres of Information Technology and Financial Services line of business.
Ravi held senior positions at IBM Global Services as Industry Executive - Financial services sector, Application Management Services (AMS) Global Delivery. Earlier worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (PWC Consulting) as Managing Consultant - Financial Services, Prior to that, he worked for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as Banking Solutions Group Head, Earlier to that Ravi worked for the third largest commercial bank in India.
Ravi’s client engagement experience spans across IT Strategy, Program Management, Global Delivery, IT consulting involving Solutions architecting, systems design, development, Integration, Implementation, Roll-out, Maintenance, Support etc. His experience covers bespoke solutions development, applications management, IT products development.
Has set up and managed a large offshore development center (ODC) in the past. Ravi has delivered projects and services with CMM Level 5 / ISO 9001 Quality standards. Managed large customer relationships/ business development / organization & team building.
His sample client list includes GE Caps, Bank of Scotland, HSBC, UBS, Zurich Insurance, SunTrust Bank, SBI, RBI, ICICI etc., sample deliverables involves developing and implementing IT Strategy for a bank, developing a statewide IT architecture for an e-governance Initiative, helping in architecting and designing & developing enterprise-wide MIS solution for a large bank, implementing RTGS Solution for a central bank, helping a large bank with Technology assessment for cash management services, helping another customer with IT implementation program management, IT security policy & business continuity plan formulation, delivering multiple solutions for a large European credit cards company etc.
Ravi has been helping Alcove in creating and nurturing partnering with many global IT, ITES and Financial Services clients, helping them with IT services, Staffing services, BPO, Contact Centers and Training services.
