Alcove Professional Development Process :
Alcove realizes the need to continually invest in its people and has established a comprehensive employee development process. Employees engage in this process annually by completing a skills assessment, setting goals and establishing an individual development plan. Alcove employees can accomplish their development goals by taking advantage of the numerous educational and training opportunities that are available including web-based tutorials and formal classroom sessions. All Alcove delivery professionals are required to complete a minimum of 80 hours of training each year. Additionally, many pursue global skills certification process in their specific technical skills.
When Alcove identifies a market opportunity or new technology that will require a substantial change in our skill base, we mobilize on several fronts. Our Training team develops and deploys a comprehensive training program that is delivered both electronically and through teams of trainers who provide class-room and hands-on training. This allows us to quickly train and deploy larger pool of delivery professionals in the technology areas that are most important to our customers.
We believe in thorough planning and a structured, top-down approach to solution and service delivery. We realise that as individuals we have a limited understanding and we therefore work in teams, making optimal use of all the ideas available to us. We actively seek business partnerships and involve others, both within Alcove and externally, to enrich our understanding and our capability to deliver the required solutions and services.
